Install additional GFCI protection, 120 volt 30 amp weather proof RV power box and conduit for grounding system.
Install intersystem grounding (bonding) bridge for connection of grounding electrode conductor to cable or telephone grounding.
I rebuilt an RV service pole that required new electrical components. The existing setup was outdated and no longer functioning correctly. I began by safely disconnecting the power and removing the old receptacles. I then installed two new 30-amp receptacles, ensuring they were securely mounted and properly wired to handle the electrical load. Additionally, I installed a GFCI outlet for added safety, protecting against potential ground faults. After completing the wiring, I tested each receptacle with a circuit tester to confirm correct voltage and grounding. The rebuilt service pole is now fully operational, providing reliable and safe power for RV hookups.
